SPORTS: Elite tennis players set up tough lesson

It was a different smile for Ashlee Hassan, the kind usually flashed when the car?s alternator blows on the way to a job interview.

Oh goodness, what can you do?

For Hassan, the Columbus area?s best high school girls tennis player, it was that type of day after she walked off the Donner Park courts following a 6-0, 6-1 loss to Fort Wayne?s Rachel Sutton in the second round of the Midwest Level 2 Open Championships for girls 18 and under.

?It?s just like a whole new level,? said Hassan, her face beet red from the heat. ?These players are great.?
