Heritage Food Service group to expand in Canada

Statement as issued by Fort Wayne-based Heritage Food Service Group:

February 14, 2013 (Fort Wayne, IN.) -- Heritage Food Service Group, Inc. today announced that it has reached agreement to acquire R.G. Henderson & Son, Ltd. of Toronto for an undisclosed amount.

Founded in 1896, R.G. Henderson is today the largest Food Equipment Repair and OEM Parts Distributor in the Ontario region of Canada.

?This acquisition will position Heritage to accelerate its expansion into the Canadian market,? said John T. Heritage and R.G. Henderson expect to complete the transaction within the next two weeks.
