Arizona vs. Colorado: Twitter Reaction, Postgame Recap and Analysis

The upsets in college basketball just keep coming as the Colorado Buffaloes topped the No. 9 Arizona Wildcats at home on Thursday night, 71-58.

Colorado jumped out to a seven-point lead after the first half, thanks to sensational play from forward Xavier Johnson. Meanwhile, Arizona simply couldn't get anything going on the offensive end for the first 20 minutes of this game and that proved to be a continued theme in the second half.

Spencer Dinwiddie helped keep Colorado ahead with a stellar performance from all over the floor. Whether it was in close or from long range, the Buffaloes' talented guard left his mark on this contest.

Dinwiddie led all scorers with 21 points and added?seven assists.?Johnson had a solid all-around performance that left him with 19 points and?nine rebounds in the winning effort.

Arizona's leading scorer this season, Mark Lyons, finished with just 11 points on 4-of-10 shooting and Solomon Hill also had a dreadful shooting night with?12 points on 5-of-14 shooting.

As a team, Colorado put up some great numbers shooting the ball. The Buffaloes?shot nearly?53 percent from beyond the arc and?50 percent from the field overall.

On the flip side, the Wildcats didn't fare so well?in the shooting department. Arizona shot?42 percent?from the field and posted an abysmal?26 percent clip from long distance.

This huge win for the Buffaloes helped exact some revenge on the Wildcats after Colorado had a game-winning buzzer beater that was waved off at the end of regulation in the pair's last meeting.

Arizona would go on to win in overtime in that contest, but they weren't so lucky this time around. The Wildcats?will undoubtedly take a slip in the rankings after losing to an unranked?opponent.
